Type profiles

Warning: these profiles are experimental and are not meant to be used for typing. However, they can serve as examples on how type descriptions for Model B2 can be made.

LIE

9. N-

When LIEs find new perspectives, they seldom answer with a closed mind, being rather curious as to how this framework might be of benefit. LIEs excel at considering different approaches together when no single one seems to offer a clear solution, never committing intellectually to a grand theory, which they worry might be oversimplifying important concepts which they can adequately apply by counterweighting each alternative.

10. T+

LIEs have strong feelings regarding which plans of action will be most useful in creating an impact in the here and now. They always prefer to trust their own judgement for theses purposes, as opposed to outside systems or people. In fact, LIEs often dislike it when others question their methods of achieving such goals, as this is an area perceived to pertain to the inner life of the psyche. This usually happens when others feel the LIE is being short sighted, as LIEs believe projects should never be larger than they need to be.

11. S-

With their heads on the clouds, LIEs sometimes neglect the necessary concrete steps in bringing their plans to fruition. To them, such efforts might appear dull and uninteresting, and they might even lose out the focus on why these are relevant in the first place. However, they are often still have a rough idea of what is to be done regarding a certain plan they have in mind. Thus, even when they have no energy to follow through, they might reject an offer for help if they are unsure whether the other part will perform the procedures the LIE has in mind.

12. F+

LIEs often have problems interacting at a personal level with people with whom they lack strong personal bonds. Despite understanding the importance to pay attention to the expectations of others, they lack the insight on how to present themselves in a more welcoming manner. They would rather show their inner style to people to whom they feel closer. Therefore, they will let others take the lead regarding which social rituals are appropriate given the situation.

13. S+

LIEs wish to be able to continue their work under stress. Despite their reputation for hard work, LIEs can turn lethargic once they find themselves in a difficult situation. Once they enter this state, it can be hard to get out and continue doing what they know best.

14. F-

LIEs are often invested in making their emotional presentation more elaborate and finding out how to best express themselves in an intense manner. To this end, they usually seek the input of those close to them as to how they could add life into their behaviour. It is important for them to not only perceive the results of such change, but to know it is them that is adding their personal touch to their personal lives such that they are in accordance to their inner expectations.

15. N+

Though LIEs often feel uneasy about having a grand theory of everything, they can work on expanding different paradigms to make them more encompassing on certain areas. This is done with the intent of pushing them to their limit and seeing where they might fail. That is, LIEs want to know when a certain approach will work and when it is best to simply let go of it in favor of a better alternative.

16 T-

Despite having an acute sense of which systems can be applied in a wide variety of situations, LIEs seldom care about the what ifs of the plans they develop. To them, a system is only good insofar as it solves the problem at hand. Therefore, LIEs might refuse to work with people who want to design for a more comprehensive system, as LIEs often perceive the clock ticking and may feel that time is running out while their work partners are consuming precious time on useless endeavor.

LII

9. N+

LIIs are best when developing and expanding on paradigms of their design. On this area, they don't really have any preconceived notions as to how they should turn out, but rather will let things take their shape progressively in accordance with their inner truth. That is, they prefer not to impose a reality on the outside, but stand in contemplation of a theory that is part theirs, part belonging to reality.

10. T-

LIIs design for the test of time. The current impact of their work is always of secondary importance to how it manages to balance between different perspectives. This is why many LIIs have gravitated towards the idea of a theory of everything, that can simplify other ideas within itself. This also explains  why they get sometimes get annoyed when questioned about how their frameworks are of use within the present context.

11. S+

Stressful environments can be problematic for LIIs. Even though they can manage to perform their duties in them, this can be a taxing experience when sustained. A side effect can be becoming stubborn regarding how to solve the situation at hand, either ignoring it or insiting on some particular method which they believe might be the solution. Experience is rarely on their side, and their approach most often only helps prolong the problem.

12. F-

LIIs could appear to have dull personal lives. Their outward expression is plain and unadorned, as they believe their thoughts should speak for themselves. When necessary, they will pay attention to external advise into how to better present their ideas to make them more appealing, although the focus will always be on the ideas they create and never in their own.

13. S-

LIIs wish their ideas to be useful at some point, in the sense that they can find application in every single aspect from which they took consideration. Unfortunately, they often stride away from what would be needed to reach this point. Moreover, the LII seldom ever has an insight into the steps necessary for their ideas may turn out to make a real change.

14. F+

LIIs are happy to learn about the experiences of different people, as their perspective could be highly enriching to their own worldviews. But it is not enough with simply learning, the LII also wants to take an active role in the interaction to better their ability to recognize the inner lives of those around them.

15. N-

LIIs usually comprise within the limits of their understanding a multiplicity of paradigms to get the best of each approach for understanding the world. They can adeptly identify which one is individually best suited for a specific situation and use it to engage with the topic with which they find themselves. As skilled as they are at this, they recognize how limited each individual approach is, and will often take the limits they find as an instrumental starting point to develop their own ideas which can transcend such limitations.

16. T+

LIIs are never oblivious as to which projects have the greatest present potential. Nevertheless, they refuse to engage in what they deem a limited design that will not outlive them anyway. As a consequence, LIIs might have trouble with superiors who expect concrete results, which they feel stifles their creativity.

IEI

9. F-

IEIs readily adjust their outward expression to whatever they perceive will create the best impression in others. They have a reputation for extravagant taste, and will never miss an option to impress others. They have a charming personality that they use to draw people over to their enterprises, even after clearly expressing their distaste for them. Those who interact with them are attracted by the deep connections they feel, sometimes inmediately after getting to know them.

10. N+

To IEIs, the most important aspect of their lives is developing the visions they have for understanding reality as it presents itself and as an idealized future. They are most interested in accounting for the whole of their subjective personal experience such that these visions can be considered complete. IEIs do not care about the common criticism that such frameworks are too narrowminded and fail to include perspectives alien to the IEI, as doing otherwise is incompatible with their visions being self contained.

11. T-

Despite attempting to encompass a wide variety of topics, IEIs can rarely imprint into their designs a structure that can be easily and objectively used by anyone not familiar with the subjective experience of the IEI. Thus, they often run into the problem of not being able to transcend their personal reality at the same time that they intend to creat a system of a universal quality. Even when they do recognize the sheer difficulty of using their ideas on the real world, they are unwilling to let any outsider help them tweak their designs for such purpose, as they fear these could get spoiled by the outside world.

12. S+

IEIs have the most trouble dealing with real life outside their inner idealized world. This does not mean that they are oblivious to the importance of it, but rather that they have no idea how to work on their environments to make them suit their inner designs. Another shortcoming is their lackluster reaction towards even moderate amounts of stress, against which they can turn lethargic and unable to turn their visions into reality. They often trust others to instruct them on how to overcome these situations, and they usually follow their advise without question.

13. T+

IEIs wish their ideas to be concretized in such a way that they will have a stronger grip on reality. Unfortunately, what they have deemed personally more relevant seldom coincides with what would be objectively more relevant in its real world applications. Thus, they lack the ability to explain how to actualize their dreams on the world.

14. S-

IEIs are interested in learning about the actions through which others have managed to exert their will upon reality. This is with the aspiration that they will also become better at implementing their ideas in a concrete, rather than abstract way. They appreciate the input of others who guide them to recognize when it is time to act.

15. F+

IEIs are able to interact with a wide variety of people and understand their experiences, as they understand they could have something to contribute to their own perspective. Rather than trying to remember all such personal issues, they work on a case by case basis first, understanding the individual first to later integrate such input into the larger worldview of the IEI and finally have an idea of the place of others within their personal mindspace.

16. N-

IEIs have little patience for those who hesitate even for a moment to commit to the projects of the IEI. Even though they are able to use many different theories in conjunction, they do not tolerate any suggestion to keep this attitude when implementing their ideas. They can be troublesome with others who would prefer to wait and see which idea will turn the most promising, as the IEI will throw themself at a single one to implement it at the first opportunity.

EII

9. N-

EIIs seldom turn their backs on a new idea presented to them, as they appreciate the perspective from which it could be coming. EIIs can place and develop many such ideas on the same level, never showing preference for one or the other in general, but rather cherishing the individuality in them.

10. F+

EIIs prefer settings where the focus is evely distributed between the different people present, such that they can process the emotional input at a level headed and calm way. Thus, they may feel uncomfortable when someone is trying to be the center of attention, hampering the process of getting to know and understanding new people.

11. S-

For all the different ideas the EII wants to consider, they seldom get the time to think of how to apply them in the real world. Their priority rather lies in the fact of expanding their worldviews to develop themselves. However, they do consider how they could help a certain person depending on their concrete situation. Nevertheless, these notions more often than not get in the way of what could have actually have been done.

12. T+

One can rarely trust the eye of an EII for identifying which of the many ideas being discussed holds the most promise in the here and now. Given that this is never a priority, they will let this kinds of decisions to other people, should they perceive it is necessary for continuing the absoption of new ideas.

13. S+

EIIs wish to have the capacity to push trough stressful situations and lead a balanced life. However, they have one of the worst reactions towards stressful situations among all types, and this takes away their ability to focus on what is truly important to the EII. This problem is magnified by the fact that the EII seldom knows which methods are most efficient at work, and they usually end up taking the hard route for certain tasks.

14. T-

EIIs are often learning about how to better integrate the different perspectives with which they are presented into a more coherent whole. This is an area through which they can better harmonize themselves with other perspectives and understand different points of view. In order to do this, EIIs insist in dissecting such points of view and can be voracious devoures of this kind of information, as well as dilligent practitioners of such integrating process.

15. N+

EIIs value the individuality of every perspective brought to the table, and will commit themselves to not let any single one dominate the others. However, it is not uncommon for EIIs to use certain paradigms to interpret wildly different situations. Through this process, the EII believes one can find both the advantages and shortcomings of them, such that they can assign every point of view their proper place in the world.

16. F-

EIIs are skillful at presenting themselves in appealing ways to other people. They know exactly what will make a strong impression on others depending on the situation. However, they refrain from letting their appeareance be overbearing, as they do not want the emotional context of the moment overwhelm the personal connections that could be formed during social occasions.

ESI

9. S+

ESIs show a remarkable disposition to work on their environment for it to be ready to become a hub for the development of future projects. They will pay attention to any missing detail, and work on fixing it in the face of increasing complication. They show a great resilience against stress, and can quickly identify what is the best way to go about solving it such that work on the project at hand can resume.

10. F-

ESIs often develop intense connections to those closest to them. They rely on their own judgement to asses how to develop the way in which they will show themselves to capture the attention of their close friends and will always want to have the lead regarding intensity appropriate for their relations. This is because they consider friendship as a relation of trust, where negative feelings towards the other can be expressed without fear of hampering the relation. Therefore, they dislike being expected to extend their appreciation to more distant people, as that would also imply a harsher treatment if the ESI is being true to themself.

11. N+

ESIs have trouble keeping their head on a single project which they must develop. Even though they do have clear expectations of such projects, they see no reason to stick to one that will be expanded for no reason. Instead, they would rather choose the ones that are most promising at the moment. Unfortunately, juggling between such different frameworks could turn out be overbearing. This sometimes flies over their heads and they might have strong reactions towards others suggesting to just focus on one plan for the moment.

12. T-

Though ESIs are aware of the importance of longstanding designs that could be applied over a wide range of situations to simplify their work, they rarely know how to best optimize their efficiency. This is because the ESI has a very limited range of attention, and most often they can only focus on the task at hand. Thus, they appreciate the input of those who take into account the future hurdles and help them prepare for them.

13. N-

ESIs wish to be able to keep their head on all the different ideas that they encounter such that they can balance and decide which one out of them is the most promising to be applied. This is a skill that ESIs lack, however, as they can only focus on one idea at a time and anything else will have to move to the background.

14. T+

ESIs are interested in which projects might be the most relevant at the moment. They will try to learn general rules on how to best identify them such that they will not get left behind on this area. ESIs want to improve themselves on this aspect of life, and will take pride whenever their choice turns out to have been fruitful.

15. S-

Despite having trouble keeping with them in an efficient manner, ESIs are skilled at identifying simple paths towards the projects they develop. To them however, it is preferable to have a plan that can resist any inconvenience. Therefore, they will spend most of their time thinking what could go wrong in order to continously waterproof their projects. This results in the ESI rejecting the easy but unreliable path, instead pushing themself towards difficult positions.

16. F+

ESIs have very few close friends, even though they have a remarkable ability to take track of webs of relations and how everyone feels about everyone else. They really see no point in paying attention to plenty of different emotional perspectives when only a few are personally relevant to the ESI. This is because they prefer deep connections through which strong personal dispositions can be exchanged, instead of more general and diffuse bonds.

EIE

9. N+

EIEs are specially skilled at expanding on different ideas and belief systems. They don't have any standard as to how to judge their ideas themselves, but rather just let them become as interesting as possible. Therefore, the value is more derived rom finding out the inner potential all perspectives, as some could turn out to be a significant life purpose.

10. F-

EIEs show a strong investment in their presentation, which must always stand out to capture the attention of everyone else around them, as they care deeply about coming across as important in the minds of those around them. It is imperative for the EIE to tweak every detail of it in order to give the exact impression they are aiming for at the time. EIEs know their own style and will come into conflict with those who expect them to present in a milder way.

11. S+

EIEs often run into problems dealing with stress. It can take a heavy toll on their psychological energy and well being to endure it for prolonged times. They often have set methods which they believe can let them manage it continue their normal lives, but it seldom works, which keeps the EIE in the same situation.

12. T-

Despite understanding why it is important to consider different points of view and integrating them in a coherent manner, EIEs rarely know how to proceed in such situations. Instead, the EIE insists on the singular elements that appear to stand out more to them, and they will need the help of others in noticing more subtle objective features.

13. S-

EIEs wish their ideas could find concrete expression in reality, instead of floating on the abstract sphere. That is not to happen most of the time, as they are among the types that know the least about how to implement such ambitious projects. EIEs will often be clueless about how to even start their plans to make a concrete change.

14. T+

EIEs want to be sure that their ideas can have a real world impact. They will train themselves to know when one such project could hold such promises and stay in synergy with the demands of the real world. Once they are able to identify which ideas have the best potential, they will constantly use this ability to invest themselves in developing them.

15. N-

EIEs are able to understand different paradigms and perspectives and know how to interpret the present according to them. However, they are most interested in selecting from them a single one that can extend its validity towards the future, and will thus remark how each one can have important limitations. This is how they later identify indirectly the most relevant ones.

16. F+

EIEs are insightful into the world of personal relationships, and can keep track of how everyone feels about their own ideas. However, they do not care of negative dispositions towards them, as it is only those whom they perceive to be in the same page as them that they personally care about. EIEs can thus be problematic for people who want to present a welcoming atmosphere, as they will naturally be predisposed against such agenda.

SEI

9. F+

SEIs show remarkable ability in interacting with others and letting them open up to lighten the mood. They can tune the general environment to the needs of every person at a gathering, with nobody feeling let out. They can pay attention to the many different points of view regarding the emotional atmosphere at hand and adjust it according to the general feeling they perceive.

10. S-

SEIs are skilled at finding ways to implement projects that can turn abstract ideas into a reality. They live to aid in the formation of structures that will work towards the wild ideas others might have, and they have clear expectations on how to go about it. They therefore reject plans that try to take more subtle details into account to include the possibility of a change of course, as the SEI believes it can create unnecessary complications which are deviating them from the important idea that was the main point behind their efforts.

11. T+

SEIs do not show interest as to how their projects will have an impact on present reality, as the value of these is measured in how well they can serve to balance different points of view. SEIs have little patience for those who will only commit if there is a visible change that can be made, as they are considered too shortsighted to appreciate the actual motive of the SEI.

12. N-

SEIs understand that it can be important to hold their options open and learn how to consider multiple approaches at the same time if they are to understand others. However, their minds are too focused on what's at hand and they might have no clue how to compare such radically different ideas. They will seek the advise of others as to how best to organize all this confusing information.

13. T-

SEIs wish to understand the points of view of many different people and join their perspectives so as to better help them find a common ground. However, they lack skill in this area and are often unable to reconcile even minor logical differences. Nevertheless, SEIs will still attempt to engage in such efforts.

14. N+

SEIs want to become better at developing their own worldviews and have a more holistic vision of the world around them. Despite this not being their strong suit, they will try to gather insights from different sources and integrate them into their thought. This way, the SEI can feel they are becoming a more complete person.

15. F-

SEIs are not uncapable of expressing themselves in chaming ways to impress others. However, they often prefer to just let others talk and have the same opportunity. If they perceive someone is being misrepresented or ignored, they will take it upon themselves to express their views more clearly by enhancing the attractiveness in presentation of their ideas.

16. S+

SEIs dislike plans that involve too much contingency. Despite being able to work with them, it might come into conflict with their original ideas regarding the project and would therefore be pointless to change course on a path to which they were committed. For this reason, they will at times be considered too stubborn by those who prefer to adapt to changes as they come.

SEE

9. F-

SEEs can fine tune their presentation to always give the impression they want and give the exact statement they are aiming for. They like to use their charm to draw people who could be of benefit to them. Their appealing personas are masterfully used to impress and convince others of joining them in their causes.

10. S+

SEEs believe in being always prepared for whatever dire times that might come. They are constantly invested in designing plans that will be waterproof and have no chance of failure. They will get annoyed if someone questions the necessity of such precaution, as SEEs believe anything less would be forcing them into a certain path when they would rather have the freedom to choose their prefered option.

11. T-

SEEs only care about what can make a strong impact, and they thus have little patience for the incorporation of different alternatives into an abstract system. Even though they sometimes are able to find ways to solve differences in points of view, they will often get set in their ways of thinking about how best to do a certain thing.

12. N+

SEEs can be though of as unintellectual because they are not the most skilled type when it comes to figuring out grand paradigms that attempt to explain everything. Their abilities lie more on what can be seen and directly experienced. However, if this can be an instrumental part of making their own ideas more attractive, they are willing to seek outside help on how to tie everything together.

13. T+

SEEs wish to have a good eye for which projects hold the greatest potential. However, they lack the necessary vision to best identify where a real change can be made. SEEs often will be unable to answer when asked these types of questions, as they would rather have an "all of the above" option.

14. N-

SEEs are often seeking advise on how to work with different ideas at the same time and use each one to compensate for the shortcomings of the other. They will take such recommendations to heart, as that skill will be necessary for understanding the direction in which things are going at the moment.

15. F+

SEEs work best in large groups of people, in which they can keep track of where everyone stands regarding a specific issue. This information is considered relevant by the SEE as a means to use such insights to their advantage in knowing what will convince others to find a common endeavor with them.

16. S-

SEEs dislike structures that limit their ability to act in such a way that they might be missing out on interesting opportunities. To avoid this, they will constantly be trying to avoid any such problems that may arise. It is for this reason that they will often refuse to commit to a specific plan if they feel it is too strict to allow them to change course once things turn dire.
