Positivist and negativist pairs

In a previous post, I proposed that positivist elements are expansive, concerned with the production or absorption of a new framework, which is accepted without a further filter, while negativist elements are refining in this regard, seeking to assess existing frameworks according to an external, non universal standard. I'd like to point out that this is not the same as the extroversion/introversion dichotomy, where each side takes respectively similar stances regarding the nature of content that is absorbed, rather than referring to the interpretation and/or management of such content. Now, I will mix both of these dichotomies to discuss the pairs that can be found in either Priority or Dimensionality blocks.

SFi is refining as to personal relations, and it is not devoid of personal preferences, primarily when they refer to how comfortable and peaceful interactions will be. It is, however, positivist, and thus uses such interactions to take in what others have to say and deepen their personal relations. The disruption of such peace would then be counterproductive to the open space it desires.

SFe is expansive, instead preferring to exert a larger emotional impact. It is also negativist, as the purpose of this behaviour is to set a clear structure to control the social interaction. This is because it does come with a preconception on which kinds of results are desirable, and the interaction is only the means to an end.

NTi is concerned with refining interpretations of the world, reaching for elegant explanations that point towards a deeper truth. It is also positivist, as there is no outside standard to which the framework is to be judged and possibly rejected. Its focus is instead to create a meaningful structure that is to be judged by its own standards and merits.

NTe expands the realm of what can be empirically ascertained about the world. It works through different alternative accounts on how the world might work and then delimits where each one can be thought of as accurate. It is then negativist, as this involves reaching compromises between each of those frameworks, for which one first needs to evaluate each individual account according to how well it fits observed phenomena, and then find heuristic methods on where each one should be favored over another.

STi is refining with regards to procedures and methods that should leave a consistent output. It is also negativist, given that its goal is to take only the structures that will fit in with other standards that should be met, thus maintaining harmony in that an advance in a certain category shouldn't come at the expense of another.

STe is expanding with regards to the available outputs from any set of resources. It is concerned with situations where one needs to spend more resources to solve a problem in the moment, and thus sustainability is discarded in favor of more immediate concerns. It is positivist because waterproofing every single detail of a plan would fail to solve the problem before it gets bigger.

NFi seeks to refine the emotional depth of its images. Its concern is the reflection of an inner reality, with all the nuance it entails. For this reason, it can be considered as negativist, as simplifying the image for transmissibility compromises its role as a description of personal feelings, which are the background against which the message should be judged.

NFe expands the realm of situations a message can resonate with. It is positivist because the meaning is adscribed to it; a complex emotional situation is essentialized to a fundamental part of universal human experience, thus not truly rejecting any possible interpretation.
